After our Rector Prof. Dr. After Musa Yıldız took office, our student Mohamed Yahya, who carried out his doctoral studies in the Chemistry Department of the Institute of Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zeynel Seferoğlu, earned his doctorate after successfully defending his thesis in English in the field of Organic Chemistry.

Having received his doctorate from our University, Dr. Mohamed Yahya was selected among 28 candidates by Prof. Dr. Wesley A. Chalifoux from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Nevada, America to receive a postdoctoral fellowship and was accepted to work in the field of NanoGraphene synthesis.
